Bridgwater Town Hall, Temporary Roof

Montana provided the temporary roof structure to enable the roof replacement and chimney repairs together with the external scaffolding necessary to refurnish the external finishes and windows.

We used a system roof as opposed to the corrugated sheeting, which enabled us to install the roof sheets from the top lift thus eliminating the need to fix roof sheeting from above and complying with the fall from Height Regulations. The system provided a faster, safer and more effective solution against the elements.

On the external elevation of the High Street, full pedestrian access was maintained in accordance with the Local Authority Highways Licence.
